Scanograms
For scanograms, I am going to demonstrate on how I am going to do the technique.
This is a scanogram photo that I have found on the internet. I like this photo because how simple, effortless it looks so I am going to remake this image myself but changed it around slightly so it's not the exact same. Instead of using flowers like the person has done on this photo, I am going to use bits of leaves to create this image.
How am I going to do it?
- Firstly, I am going to go out and collect bits of leaves.
- Secondly, I am going to place them on the scanogram with the way I want them to look.
- Lastly, I am going to place my hands against the bits of leaves and scan to get the finish look that I want.
Emulsion Transfers
For emulsion transfers, I am going to demonstrate on how I am going to do the technique.
This is a emulsion transfer that I have found on the internet. The reason on why I have picked this image rather than the others that I saw is because this photo caught my eye. It caught my eye how it looks as if the tree is 'towering' over you as it seems like the original photo was took midway, facing upwards instead of just a straight photo which makes this one interesting.
I am going to repeat this image and create it myself.
How am I going to do it?
- Firstly, I am going to go out and find a tree which will give this kind of effect.
- Secondly, once I have found the tree that I want to photograph, I am going to take a photo of it.
- Thirdly, once I've photographed the tree, I am going to return to the computer, upload the image and print it off.
- Lastly, once I have printed the photo off, I am going to complete the process.
How am I going to complete the process?
- Get a A4 piece of paper/card.
- Get some acrylic and paint the paper/card (presumably the same size of your photo)
- Once you've done that, quickly paint the photo with acrylic so the acrylic on the A4 paper so it doesn't dry.
- When you have painted the photo, place the image down on the paper where you covered it with acrylic and blow-dry it quickly (hairdryer).
- Once it's dried, get a damp cloth and wet the image all over.
- When the photo is damp and you've rubbed at it, it should of rubbed away and left you with the image you was looking to create.
Projection Photography
For projection photography, I am going to demonstrate on how I am going to do the technique.
This is a photo of projection photography, I have found this photo of the internet. The reason I quite like this photo is because he has projected his own face against he's real-life face to great two faces in one. I am going to recreate this photo but using my myself.
How am I going to do it?
- Firstly, I am going to take a photo of myself.
- Secondly, I am going to upload it to the computer.
- Thirdly, I am going to get my computer and link it to the projector.
- Fourthly, I am going to get the projector to project the image that I took of myself.
- Lastly, once the picture is projecting onto me, I'll get someone to take the picture and that will create a projection photograph.
Zoom Burst -
For the zoom burst, I am going to demonstrate on how I am going to do the technique.
This is a photo of zoom burst, I found this photo of the internet. I quite like this photo as it doesn't seem to 'busy' like loads of things are going on at once. I am going to recreate this photo but with a different picture of what I want zoomed so it's not the same.
How am I going to do it?
- Firstly, I am going to take a picture of something that I want to 'zoom burst'.
- Secondly, once I have chosen my picture, I will do the technique of zooming my lens in and out.
- Lastly, when zooming my lens in and out of the object I want, I will take the picture and it should of created the photo called 'zoom burst'.
Light Painting
For the light painting, I am going to demonstrate on how I am going to do the technique.
This is a photo of light painting, I found this photo of the internet. I like this photo as it looks like he's not just doing it just with a flash light. It seems he's using a sparkler instead. I am going to recreate this photo myself but not doing the same light painting as the photo.
How am I going to do it?
- Firstly, I am going to need a dark room to create this kind of technique.
- Secondly, I will need a flash light to draw my picture.
- Thirdly, I'll need to set my shutter speed to the right amount of seconds that I need to draw the picture.
- Lastly, once I have set up my camera, I will draw my image of what I want to do. By the time that I have done the shutter speed should have ran out and the photo would have been took itself.
